FLARELOCK, 2"-4", A crush resistant heavy duty exhaust hose made of specially compound rubber to resist heat, aging, gasoline, exhaust fumes and oil. Individual lengths are easily interconnected. When using on vehicles with catalytic mufflers, temperatures can be as high as 600°F. In these applications, use metal transitions to lower exhaust temperatures to acceptable levels. ACT, 5" & 6" Designed use with larger gas vehicles and diesel trucks. Act hose is formulated from the same high temperature Rubber as Flarelock hose. The main difference being a splice connector must be used when joining 2 lengths of Act hose together.
THIS HOSE IS TO BE USED ONLY WHEN THERE IS NO LOAD ON THE ENGINE. HEAT RESISTANCE IS 400°F (600°F INTERMITTENT)
